Why I made this
Then the planner I loaded onto it was the noise — cluttered, clip-arty, built like an app, with lines that weren't crisp and files that took forever to open. It broke the quiet I'd bought the thing for. So I made the journal I actually wanted: calm, made for the screen, and easy to bend to how I work. This is that.
The idea
Most journals are someone else's finished thing. Drifting Away is a quiet little design studio — start from one that's good to go, then change as little or as much as you like. Nothing locked, nothing you can't undo.

Three starting points, hand-built and lovely as they are — pick one and you're done, or use it as the seed for something of your own.
Hourly days, weekly and monthly spreads, and yearly goals that flow into each day — all linked.
A bullet-journal-style log: yearly, quarterly, monthly and daily, auto-indexed.

What I cared about
Change anything, or build from scratch. The others hand you a fixed file; this one bends to you.
Sized to your device's real pixels, with crisp lines, true grayscale, tap-to-navigate links, and files that open in a blink. It gets out of your way.
Real typography and art, chosen with care and kept in grayscale, so nothing on the page shouts.
The art is rescued from old book prints — engravings, botanical plates, star charts from a slower century — then lovingly edited to sit softly on e-ink. Analogue beauty, on purpose.
